Mastery of Standards
Instead of receiving number or letter grades such as an A or a 92 the students will receive one of the grades below:
Level 3 (Mastery) I can independently show Mastery of the standard through reflections, discussions, and assessments. I can apply my knowledge in new situations.
Level 2 (Approaching) I can demonstrate a basic understanding and approaching mastery of the standard, but need more practice in applying my knowledge. I still have questions and need assistance to achieve mastery.
Level 1 (Developing) I need teacher assistance to revisit the standard as I am developing skills to gain more understanding and attention to detail.
